  • 2 lemons
  • 1/2 orange
  • 1/4 cup ginger
  • 1 tsp cinnamon optional
  • 1 cup water

How to make lemon juice cleanse recipe in a juicer

  • Roll the lemon on a hard surface to slightly soften the skin making it easier to juice
  • Juicing the lemon
    For the highest lemon juice yield, a quality citrus juicer is best. It prevents you from needing to peel the lemon or from manually needs to squeeze the juice out.
    Alternatively, you can peel your lemon and separate into segments to put through your slow juicer.
  • Peel your ginger and cut into chunks small enough to be juiced. 
  • Begin juicing
    Feed the lemon segments and ginger pieces through your juicer alternating between each ingredient.
  • Once all the ginger and lemon pieces have been juiced, and the pulp has been fully extracted add the water and cinnamon to the mix
  • Stir until completely mixed
  • For sweetness, you can add a hint of vanilla essence and a small amount of orange juice.
  • Serve and enjoy!
    It is best to drink your juice while it's fresh since nutrients will tend to degrade due to oxidation the longer they are left out.

How to make this lemon ginger juice for weight loss in a blender

  • Roll the lemon on a hard surface to slightly soften the skin making it easier to juice
  • Peel your lemon and separate into segments
  • Peel your ginger and cut into chunks small enough to prevent the blades of the blender from jamming. 
  • Place your lemon, ginger, orange and cinnamon into your blender jug with a teaspoon of cinnamon powder.
  • Add a cup of water
  • Blend until completely mixed.
  • Using a fine sieve, strainer or nut milk bag – pour the blended juice through to filter out all the pulp.
  • Serve fresh and enjoy!
